Tenders sealed and endorsed as above are invited and will be received by the undersigned up until 2.00pm on Tuesday 24 April 2007 for the purchase of the subject property that consists of a very small brick building on land, 3.05m wide by 4.27m deep. Tenders must be lodged in Council's Tender Box at the Administration Centre, 2-14 Fisher Street, Petersham.

Council has a Selective Purchasing Policy with restrictions on purchasing goods and services from individuals and businesses doing business, or willing to do business, in, or with, Myanmar. A declaration will be required to be submitted by the tenderer as to whether they do, or are willing to do, business in, or with, Myanmar.

Council has a Statement of Business Ethics which it must comply with and requires the business' it deals with, to do likewise. A declaration in this regard, will be required to be submitted with the tender.

Council requires that tender submissions, by individuals or businesses, detail Australian Business Number (ABN) and GST status. Additionally, the tender amount must be GST inclusive. Any individual or business not registered with an ABN will be subject to withholding tax, unless exempt, as prescribed within the Pay-As-You-Go (PAYG) legislation.
